Rise of Darkness – Ragnarok End-Game Linkshell

RiseOfDarkness (RoD) is a Ragnarok server European-core FFXI HNMLS. We currently focus on Dynamis, Sea, KS99, Einherjar and Salvage events, but we are open to all kinds of events (like popped NMs requested by our members or Ouryu/Bahamut orbs which we usually do).

Who we are

• We aren’t a one-leader-only owned LS. There is a group of sackholders (currently six) from different nationalities who make all decisions in a democratic manner. A lot of people here has been playing for a long time, so they decided to fund a new LS and do things differently.
• Our members average age is around 20+ (there are exceptions obviously). We do not like dramas, we like dedicated members who enjoy a free-speech environment and who want to make some good friends in-game. Any member can politely ask any sack about the reasons for a particular decision, we are ok with that.
• The usual event time is from about 18:30 to 22:00 GMT, which suits most European players. Event time will be modified accordingly to daylight-saving time, so you have to add an hour in Summer.
• Events we often do: Ouryu, Bahav2, KS99 Wyrm/Behe, Dynamis-COP, Sky, JoL, Kirin, Einherjar, Salvage, …
• We currently use a points system only for Dynamis. We have used a points system in the past for other drops, but we felt it failed in lots of situations, so now all “big” drops are put to the vote between sacks and decided by a majority. We try to give drops to the people who will put most use to them, but seniority is important too.
• The official LS language is English. We have members from Italy, Germany, Spain, UK, … (we like to call them our “ghettos”) and so the languages of those countries are used too, but at event time Engrish-onry is allowed.
• We do not currently camp Kings (namely KB, Fafhogg, Aspid) as a usual event. However, if a member provides a ToD in a good time frame for us, we will camp it happily.
• Limbus is currently done by a set separated of linkshell events, however all linkshell members are welcomed to join it.

Requirements

• At least one job to 75 (2+ preferred)
• Sea and sky access is required.
• Attendance to Dynamis is also required, so you are not allowed to have a Dynamis-LS.
• Assuming you apply with a particular first job, you are expected to attend events with that job unless any other you have leveled is needed.
• You are expected to come to events regularly, and mandatory if you are logged in. If you miss too many events in a row (without a good explanation) you will be penalized, and eventually, banned from the LS.
• Also following the previous point, you are required to attend events **in time**, we value punctuality.
• We take this for granted, but you are required to show respect to your LS mates and follow sacks orders. Rudeness and selfishness will be penalized.
